i finished sheeting my bed with 16 gauge and have already added rage body filler and sanded it down. everyhting feels and looks nice and smooth. how are you guys preparing for paint? are you spraying epoxy primer and then using high build to get rid of any imperfections and then painting? any help would be appreciated.

the tacoma I did I smoothed out the body filler with 120 grit then sprayed it with spray poly its like a thick primer then blocked that out with 220 then high build primer came out real nice. I did my bed that way on my s10 too

after you think your mud work is done use a epoxy primer. EVERCOAT UROFILL is the shit. block with 180 fix any low spots. prime and block with 320.

Depo. Stop making everything think you know how to do body work just cuz you worked at a paint store. It's like me saying I can do brain surgery just cuz I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night.! You wanna do the body work when i skin my bed?...lol
