I'd put a little extra bracing on those upper bag brackets. Some plate on the sides or something. Overbuild it and you wont have problems. Lol.

Looks good BTW.

Thats funny Seth. I actually have pieces cut to weld to the top edges of the brackets but didn't put them on because I figured it was strong enough. You talked me back into it though. Reinforcement it is

Excess reinforment is always a good thing. I brace the shit out of everything, so I can guarantee yself it wont fail on me. Lol. Good youve already got the pieces made too.

Ready to order my bags for the rear. I did have Contitech but I want to go with Slam Specialties. I guess RE7 or RE8. Which bag would you guys go with between those two???

Nice work are you using the stock arms on the back?

May as well go ahead and buy it Steve.. these cars are cool to work on.

No Rhett...the arms are 2"x2"x3/16" tube/suicidedoors bushings and gravity werx bag brackets.

Hmmm I was thinking about just modifying my rear arms ,but I will probably just be better off to replace them.If you dont mind me asking did also get new arms up front and if you did who did you get them from.

I'm just runnin stock front arms. Rustic Racing on the Impalassforum.com sales tubular arms. I hear they are kinda expensive. You should be ok with your stock front arms. What size wheel tire you runnin on the front?

well it lays out on stock arms i just thought the fit and finish of new arms is better
