get with blazedbowtie82 & see how his install went...i just sent him all my old stock stuff off my 88 for his 80 so that he can have the later model balljoints, & it looks like it will all bolt right up, then you could go with later model belltechs because they don't make any spindles for the early years,.good luck

Actually, Corey, the 78 spindles are probably a lot different. Those trucks have coil springs up front, and the front end is a lot different. But, I'm not sure if the spindles are similar or not. Steve, if you take pictures we might be able to help

Loluxtrux would know for sure, becaus he put his 75 on a newer frame.

ok thanks, I thought about doing a late model front clip But thats alot of work. I want to build a quick daily driver and put all my time and money and my street rod

You could probably cut the arms, and space the balljoints up a bit to get a similar effect.

you're right, when i looked up a pic of that front end, i didn't read the info about the truck & it was front clipped for that reason. sorry if i mislead you man...

Your lower arms are gonna hit groung long before your frame. I z'd my 77 2 inches and now there's room for 20's and it can lay full frame with factory spindles.
