bodydropped tacos with working Heat and AC

OK my 97 taco is bodydroped 3.5 inchs and i notched my blower motor and i have that in with AC element and i stuffed my heater core back in there... only think i cant rember if there is an inlet and outlet on the heater core? or dose it not metter how i hook the hoses back up? and is there anthing else i should look out for when putting this stuff back in?

There is a certain way to hook up the little black valve that the hoses run to...there is an inlet and outlet.
