Hes right. The old HiFonics will beat the hell out of new amps, and nevr claimed to have 2 or 3 thousand watts. Just had pure juice.

thats because they were called cheater amps used for spl comps because they were rated at low power at rediculously low levels of distortion.

Yeah I know all this, and that why I run them. Not to cheat. Because I dont compete, but just to have amps that will work with what ever I throw at them with out flinching.
