89 gmc fullsize with a 95ish dash will it work?

I just need to know if a 95 or so dash will work in my 89 gmc? I think it should bolt right up with very little problem but i just was wondering if you guys have ever tried it before and what are some of the problems you run in to when doing this?

i have seen alot of people do it. i don't think it is very hard. the electronics are different and i don't know how you would change all the a/c controls and stuff. you would prob. want to change the door panels too so the lines would match.

Yeah thats what i thought to i figured it would bolt up but the little shit would have to be modified and all. Well i guess ill have to go a different route. Thanks for the help unfortunatly i was afraid someone would say that. I guess ill break out the chicken wire and fiberglass and get to it.

I know you will have to change the door panels too or the door won't close!!! I don't know about the electrical stuff!

Then the steering column, pillar plastic, heater box and vents, kick panels, and all the mounting points are probably all different as well.

it work fine,,, most everything bolts right up. but you do hav to swap the door panels, a-pillars, and mod your kick panels... but heres mine in my 91 chevy
