suburban body off

iv got my truck apart for Z. im contemplating whether or not to take the body off. weve come up with about 3 different methods of getting the body off. im wondering if anyone has taken a large SUV body off the frame and how u went about it? pics are great if youve got some. thanks

using a two post lift will be the easiest way with something that big.

o just get about 12 of ur best friends... won't be a problem

or get 4 of the Tallest jack stands you can find and jack the cab up little by little one side at a time. then once its up high enough roll the frame out from underneath it.

yea we talked about using 4 hi-lift jacks and rollin the chassis out from under it. iv got a 2 post lift at my old shop but its 20 miles away, and i have no truck or trailer to get it there. i think im gonna get some people over and just manually lift it with a bunch of people. seems most feasible for my situation.

a wrecker will probably charge u 40-50 dollars to take it off and put it wherever u want it

yea i just pulled the front end off tonight. i dont know wtf to do. iv got the clip off it to ease doing the Z. im not 100% sure if im gonna take the body off. motors getting heads and cam so timing is right for Z.

iv always wanted to make a big long roadster(kinda like that green giveaway dually(MIC??)) and after seeing the post tonight about it im wondering how it would look.
