Hey guys currently I own 2 mazda's a b2200 (Never Fails) its my work truck, and my project a 91 b2600i, I bagged it relocated the battery and wiring, put a new head on it, it would fire up fine for a while then one day it just did not want to anymore. It cranks and everything but there is no spark from the coil, now I was wondering what in the hell could be wrong with this? Does anyone know how to test the coil? I just bought an igniter from the junkyard cause brand new the chepaest I found was $130 and there is no returns on electricals once its been installed, when I bought it the guy told me he had just put a rebuilt computer from the dealership in it, so I seriously dont know what else to do I feel like tossing the damn thing but I have to much money into it. Someone pleas help me

Then Sell me you hood and junk it....Naah just kidding, actually my cousins did this, it ended up being the most pethitic thing it could be, after 3 weeks of screwing with it. we put a new ground on the coil and the battery to block, started right up...give it a shot

On my old b2600i, i had burned the coil/thingy next to the coil when welding on it. I don't know why it got killed it, even with the battery is off. Ended up just putting a MSD ignition in it. Also the compputers go out ALL the time in them, you have to take it out from the passenger side kick panel, take the cover off and check out the board and make sure all the electric components look healty, there is a risistor thingy on it that goes bad and sometimes leaks on the circuit board. I've fixed a few of them.
