Court date laws??

but they still have not sent me a day for court yet. It has been almost 6 months. I called them back in November and they said it would probably be the first of the year before anything happened. Is there a limit of time before it is thrown out? I want to get this shit taken care of but haven't heard anthing yet.

There is a statute of limitations in such a case, but generally that is like 3-5 years depending on charges, etc. Did they tell you what the hold up was ? If the courts are just busy, then you'll wait, but if you were say in prison, then yes, you are privy to a fair and speedy trial.

I assume your pleading not guilty?
