I came across a thread on how to do this at home so I went out and bought the hardware and started puttin it together... I got it all bolted up and it looked awesome untilli shut my trunk than the allignment was to far forward and the back of the lid was sittin up to high.

This is how they say to setup the hinges but I think the actuall hinge part is up to high...

Any help would be awesome.

i had a buddy that did it on his 96 civic, and he had to weld in a brace from one hinge to the other so that it would go down strait. just make sure that weld in the brace with it bolted to the trunk like stock then put yoour hinges on.
