Has anyone changed a tbi 350, say a 91, to a tpi from a later model, For example what would be involved in putting an intake manifold from a c5 vette onto 350 in a early truck? if you had the manifold, injectors, airflow meter, throttle body, wiring harness and computer, do you think it would be that easy?

I installed a TPI 305 in a 96 S-10. I used the early setup with a Mass air flow. Try to find a TPI setup off a newer model that uses a MAP sensor versus the Mass Air Flow. It is a much simplier. Painless make a really good harness for the TPI conversion.

c5 corvette is a new block.which proably wont fit your old block.here is what you need.tpi 86-89 maf.buy the aftermarket harness from painless and bolt it on.your old wiring harness will have to be shortened.check me out.....

the c5 vette motor is an LS1, and is totally different. the intake will not work on a typical smallblock. you could either do what the others said or get a stealth ram, which should come with everything you need and is a better performance piece than the factory TPI setup. good luck.

gen 3 smallblock stuff (ls series) will not fit anything before it.

if you decide on the stealram, check your hood clearence, its a pretty tall intake.

im really diggin the multi-point setup from edelbrock, for a 1000 bux you can swap out your tbi setup for an 8-injector efi system....
