I AM sure it has been brought up plenty of times but i am wondering how reliable is a saden a/c compressor converted to a air compressor w/ a oiler on the suction side and a oil trap on the pressure side??? and how fast will they pump i just ordered a 12gal tank???? please let me know guys

ive got one one my nissan and it pretty reliable, i usually keep about 210 psi in it, but i dont drive it everyday either, but it does fine for the times i do drive it, its pretty quick

The Sanden 508 (and possibly other models) do have an internal oiling system. There will be a large nut on the top of the compressor where the grease goes. I haven't personally used one, but they should be reliable. There are companies that sell them for 4x4 and offroad vehicles so I would assume they should be fine.

Zander, is yours have the internal oil?

im not sure if mine has internal oil i will have to look.
