floater rims

anybody have a video of a floater rim or a video of a counter weighted spinner would work, im looking for something that shows how the solid black back ground wheels with the non spinning spinners looks, linka like its slidding down the street so i can show someone what im talking about lol

I think it was on Johnson Family Vacation he had some on his Navigator.. If you got that movie you could show that..

i was just hoping that someone would have a short clip or know of a website with a short clip of something on the floater rims

r u talkin about the rims that are all black (like smoothies) and have the chrome spinner piece on the outside?

ya the ones that are black in the back and have the chrome spinner but its counter weighted to when your rolling the spinner doesnt spin with the wheel it floats, thus making it look like your wheels are not turning when your moving down the street

i know i'm probably gonna get flamed for this but WHY?...isn't the purpose of a spinner to spin?...why would you want the spinner to stay stationary?...so the wheel looks like it isn't moving?!...gimme a scenario as to why this would be a good idea

There is the spinner and then theres the floater the spinner is not supposed to move while you drive ( but 99% of the time it does). The spinner works great if your on the highway it dosn't move but if your doing stop and go it dosn't work right.You stop and it starts spinning, you take off and it is still spinning. With a floater it is heavier on the bottom so it dosen't move as much when you stop and go.The DUB only rocks about 6 to 10 in back and forth. I know MHT used to have a video on there website it is in the DUB series. You could try that

its just supost to give the oppasite affect of the rims spinning while stopped but instead it looks like the wheels are not spinning while your moving so it looks as though the truck is sliding down the street lol
