lookin for some answers on a new front clip for an 88 ranger/bronco2. which is the best to use(besides a mustang2, too damn expensive and can't find plans for building one)i've heard to use a 89-94 toyota. has anybody done this and have pictures of where they boxed it together? are there better setups? what about bolt patterns? and hooking up steering? i got 20's for this thing and i'm lookin to go with a 302/auto tranny. any knowledgable information would be greatly appreciated. thanx in advance.

Im stockflooring my ranger on 20's w/ a toyota style front suspension. Instead of using a complete yota front frame clip and steering, I am running the stock ranger front frame and a buddy of mine is building a set of tubular arms and control arm mounts to work on the ranger frame but bolt up to a yota spindle. I am also running a new engine crossmember and a rack and pinion steering out of an Aerostar minivan. The front end buildup should be starting soon. Ill get some pics up when it gets going.

The yota front end uses the same 5x4.5 bolt pattern as a ranger also.

well, I still have plans to do one of these sometime this month.

we will be making a bolt in crossmember and tube arms that use Toyota spindles. I will also (if I have time) make some arms that use Mustang 2 drop spindles.
