running line...

Right now I have a main line running from my tank to the front of my car where it splits to the two valves. Problem is it runs pretty close to my exhaust pipes. I know it gets pretty hot under there since I can feel the heat when I get out of the car but I tried running the line through the car and under a few other ways but other things get in the way. Anyone have any ideas on how I can help keep the heat from possibly ruining my line? I have thought about the isulation wrap that people use for headers but I wanted to see what you guys think. I'm not saying this is the right way to do it but on my car we just ran the airline down the side of the car and over the plastic in the wheel wells. Seems to work great for me. I can drive it with it completly layed out and have no problems. But your gonna wanna def figure something out to get it away from that exaust cause it will burn right threw.

yeah I got the line attached to my fuel lines and they are running right with them. There isnt much there for me to be able to run them on the sides but I'll have to take a look. Thanks for the reply.

I didn't have anything to hold the line to the side either so i got some holders that go around the line and then have a screw hole (used for holding plumbing pipe) and self tapped them into the bottom of the car 3/4" self tappers. Holds great. Just an idea, worked for me.

hardline it with copper, problem solved

You could cover it with that fuel line heat shield stuff.

IS IT JUST WHERE IT GOES OVER THE AXLE NEXT TO THE EXHAUST? I GOT WHITE STRAPS THAT I USE TO MOUNT UNDERBODY KITS THATLL WORK TO GET IT OUTTA THE WAY,, JUST GOTTA TAP HOLES IN TH FLOOR PAN SOMEHWERE..

^^^lol...hey bro, I was just about to say that copper line rattles like crazy! Yeah I noticed last night when I got out of my car that the heat coming out from under the car was hot and I definitely dont want the line to blow on me later on. I was thinking of getting some line holders like mentioned, gotta get some more line from ya soon.

i ran the line in the inside of the car in the jambs underneath the plastic covers so you cant see nothing on my honda.

I always run minme inside of a car. If its on a truck I run it high up on the frame rails.
