hey david, i think its the wheels sizes, you have 22's and doughboy has 20's, unless those are old pictures. by the way, what was that tool called that i needed to make the right tapered hole for the tie rod ends. and how much did you cut to tub the front end. i think i'm going to take care of that this weekend if i can find the tapered drill bit. thanks and laterz. oh yeah as for the "baggin a new ram" your truck will look sick when bagged. laterz

It i was only setup for 20's it will get stuck on the dayum x member..

Anywho.. you need a Reaming tool. I dont know where or how to get one.. The nieboring shop to my buddies had it and loaned it to us. It had a very large bit end that it hooked to some unknown tool.. so we used Vice grips .. it was like 1 1/2 to 1/2 inch tampered.. that we only tapered to what we needed to ..

Good lucK!

FLIP THE TIE RODS!!! save on bumpsteer

it was prolly tapered for a collet setup for a bridgeport or a lathe.

When Ekstensive did my 02 in 02 they raised the upper mounts 3 inches and put flipped chevrolet ball joints on the lowers. It was set up when i had 20s and i put on 22s aabout a month later. With the crossmembers that they built and relocated I have never had a problem laying frame and mine does have the 5.9. I dont have any pics of the setup but i will post a few sou you have another option to think about.
