Yea if youre not careful.. theres always some way to get raped.. Be sure you trust the buyer or whatever, and keep any emails/IMs, etc that could help in a dispute. If you are selling something, require a signature on delivery.. only ship to their paypal verified address and provide tracking # asap.

paypals buyer protection is a joke. I purchased somethign through ebay, payed by paypal. the seller flaked out. no emails even became no longer registered with ebay. so i file a claim with paypal and in the end i got back what i paid in shipping. I am out the rest of the money. paypal said there was not enough money in the sellers account to refund me fully. and im sitting there like paypal should draw the money from that sellers bank account but i guess what i am trying to say is, beware, buyer protection is a fucking joke. Fuck Paypal

the deal is im selling something and i just want to make sure if he sends me money that i will get the money and not have to pay it back later if he uses stolen money to pay for it.

I require Verified Acounts, Verified Address, i make them sign for the product also when mailed. That way they cant hack the account and change the info and buy stuff.. have to have varified account. In force some rules.. like 5 days to pay, ect. The cons will stay away.
