I'm wanting to lay down a two tone paint job. My idea is to break up the two colors with centerline flame job. Top portion will be black braking up the lower half (green) with a basic flame setup.

So must I spray the whole car green then mask off the lower area and my flame job and spray the top port black... or just lay the lower half green and sort-of fade the upper half then mask off and spray black? Just trying to get my ideas straight before I jump into the task. Thanks

id' do the fade, just make sure it's covered a little past the break and you'll be fine... waste of material to spray it all green.

I always spray the top portion first. Since gravity does cause paint to go down just like anything else. If any paint sags below the tape line, its alot easier to fix.

yea def. dont spray the whole thing one color as said above, it is a wast of paint and time. just spary both ur colors as close to the centerline flame and then cover up where the two meet with the centerline flame.

spray your black first just barely below your flame's line. tape off flames, spray green pinstripe and clear. I help my buddy do several

Just a few old the newer ones are bada**
