I'm trying to learn...

I'm just starting with Photoshop.
KEG did a rendering of my truck and inspired me to give it go.


It's obviously going to take me a while to begin to exhibit the skills of some of you...but you have to start somewhere.

It was supposed to be like a melting effect.

Oh well, I'm just a novice F'n with the limited skill that I have.

This was the original, though.

find a good high res pic and try it
but try and keep it real lookin lol

I was goin' for the "toonish" look also.

looks like youve learned some filters. now forget all about filters when doin a rendering and learn the airbrush, thats your best tool

i like toon cars too, but photoshop is more then just filters. it don't cost 6+ bills for a handfull of filters, there are a lot of tools to use and explore in there, just gotta learn how to apply them to what your wanting to do
