88 ranger phantom grill? does somewhere still sell them?

i have a november 1998 issue of minitruckin with matt bates' topless ranger on the cover. anyone remember this one? it says the phantom grill came from stillen, i looked at their website and they do not list it. does anyone know where one can still be found? or perhaps does someone have one covered in dust lying in their basement or garage? i know i can make one, it is only 12 bars, but thats more time i'll waste doing that instead of gettin on my quest of puttin a toyota clip on the front. i do not want to put the 89-92 front on, i like the 88 but finding this once common grill has proven to be near impossible.

About two years ago I got mine from JBM (www.sporttrucking.com). If you have the option to not get the shell with it I wouldn't. I spent about four hours trying to cut it down to fit but it was still about two inches to wide on each side. I ended up cutting the grid out of the center section of the stock grill and nobody could tell until I showed them.

u could always just start welding a toyota front end on and do a conversion! thats what i did!

aim makes one w/ the shell but its prob crap.

I have heard many things about body dropping and bagging my 88 ranger. Some say that it is not possible because of the wierd I-Beams for the front end. Has anyone done this?? and if so tell me if its possible

my 85 is bagged/bodydropped on 18/20s w/ i beams.
