looking at the picture at that angle it almost looks like its got a cab and chassy rearend

here's my thought the bed looks like a bed that you could finance through the dealer and it looks like a c&c rear end so I'd say its a c&c truck get a masurement from the cab to the center of the axle and that will tell you

what is the measurement i am looking for from the cab to axle heres another pic

if the rear inner tires are in line with the fronts it's a standard dually if the outter rear tire lines up with the front it's a C&C rear end. hope this helps nice truck if you pick it up. lol if you get rid of the rig mirrors you can ship the here lol

Welcome to the site. Most flat bed trucks I have dealt with have C&C axles in them.

thx for the info i havent been back to the guys house who has the truck im waitin on my money from taxes the flatbed comes out past the cab about 5 to 6 inches and the outer duals are almost flush with the outside of the bed the bed is 8ft wide and 8 1/2 ft long if that helps narrow it down im only getting it for $800 it has a 350 with a 4 speed manual trans the truck is completly stock i plan on putting a dually bed on it and giving it a 6 8 static drop

Quoted for truth; here's a little pic I made up to help explain the difference:

Something to watch out for on C&C trucks if you're planning to put a regular bed on it. Not only will the rear end width bone you, the shape of the frame is different too so you'll be making bed mounts and possibly having trouble making the bed sit at the right height, AND...most C&C's are 4" longer in wheelbase than the closest regular truck wheelbase. There are SOME 1 ton C&C's that are the same wheelbase as the comparable 1 ton pickup but most are 4" longer.

thanks can i tell a frame difference by looking under the flatbed

After the kick-up behind the cab, a chassis cab frame profile is ladder straight and flat. 34" centers front to rear, which is narrower than a regular pickup frame.

The easiest way is just stand in front of it with the steering aimed straight forward, and look at that pic I just posted and what xtowtruck and I said. A regular dually will have the front tires lining up exactly with the inner duals. A chassis cab will have them lining up dead center between the inner and outer duals, because the rear axle is narrower.
