My ranger is already stock floored under the cab but i've decided i wanna build a new frame. Now before i get the responses sayin leave it to the pros, it's not gonna be me thats building it. I'm gonna be helping a guy build it and he has built many complete frames. i wanna run a mustang II front setup and definetly 20's and possibly 22's. My 1st ? is wheres the best place to get a mustang II front setup and which one i'll need. My next ? is should i do a complete frame or just from the fire wall back and also what thickness and size of metal would be the best. I've decided i'm gonna go all out on this project, but i need some advice before i start

Well if you are gonna go all out I suggest doing a full frame so you can paint it and get the all out detail that you desire. As for mII front end call up Heidts they build good shit and not too bad on the pocket book. And you gotta go 22z, there is already one guy layin 22z now and by the time yours hits the pavement again everyone will be layin 22z and you will be one step behind. As for the steel get 2x2 quarter in. wall box tubing.

art morrison bent to your spec 1/8th wall rectangle tube with their ifs...nothing better and so much faster of a way to do it, just do body mounts, motor mounts some x-members and your done...1/4 wall is overboard in my opinion, 1/8 wall is fine if you position your bags correctly and do well designed x-members

james i just called speedwaymotors and i'll probably go with their kit, but i have a ? bout the crossmember. Their kit doesn't come with the crossmember. Is this something i'm goin to have to make or is there another place that sells a universal one. All speedway has were for 30 and 40's hotrods
