A lot of research so you're not redoing everything. If you're going to do it, do it right the first time.

BETTER HOPE YOU CAN READ A MESURING TAPE CAUSE YOU ARE GOING TO USE IT ALOT. ALSO IF YOU THINK OR DOUBT SOMETHING IS GOING TO WORK RECHECK IT AND MEASURE IT. TAKE YOUR TIME AND DONT RUSH REMEMBER SAFTY FIRST CAUSE YOUR LIFE IS RIDING ON WHAT YOU DO. DONT NEED TO HAVE A SERIOUS WRECK CAUSE OF A MISHAP THAT COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED . YOU WILL BE OK

I Bagged my 97 fullsize chevy last year. I have some buddies that have a shop in Minnesota Called Creative Illusions. I watched alot of the work that they did and how they set stuff up. Then I Had one of my buddies from there come out to my house and help me set up the four link to make sure it was right. I had a Cantilever kit from suicide doors last year with the upper bars reversed so I could keep the stock gas tank. I had some problems with driveline noise though. I just got done re 4-linking the rearend so all bars go forward. I Had my friend come and help again. I think it is the best way to do something your first couple of times is to have someone help you who knows what they are doing. Measureing and holding brackets and bars in the correct places are hard to weld in with only two hands.

purchase a nice tape measure, and an angle finder, a 4ft level, and then read up everything you can on fab work and suspension geometry.
