Question about a ticket

well, i finally got my court date for a ticket I recieved back in September about a "defective taillamp". I had a 42" hitech back then which wasn't "as wide as practical" ( at least that what the cop said ). Well, since then I have upgraded the 42 to a 60" hitech with a red lense. The 60" is about as big as light as i can fit in there. I plan on showing the judge pictures of my truck when it had the 42" in there, so my question is, should I even mention my 60"? What would you do in this situation.

say you had the 60" in there the whole time and act like u dont know why there pulling u over! lol

Is that your only brake light? the led strip ? If it is, i would get me a pair of trailer lights rig them up on a bracket on each side of the tailgate and take pictures of that and take them to court.

take in a pic of the car how it was before with the factory lights and tell them you put it back to stock so it would be legal again and they will dismiss the ticket

Here you have to have an officer or someone actually walk out and check the vehicle.. We don't have as many laws worth getting fix it tickets over since we don't have inspections and all, but say "no tag light" or something like that.. an officer actually has to see it and sign a paper here im pretty sure
