This isn't the place for this but I'm lookin for some answers, I have an 8 month old son (already has a truck, lol) he's been runnin a high fever for over 2 days and no one can tell us what is wrong with him, doctors nurses, etc. have no idea. His temp gets up to 103 adn when we give him medicine to get it down he acts like nothing was evr wrong with him. He crawls, plays climbs, the usual. Thay have ran test after test adn have said nothing but its some kind of infection and that his white blood cells are up. Has anyone else seen or heard of any of this, we've got to find out what the deal is. I appreciate any advice

seriously a nurse friend of mine said get him tested for spinal and bacterial meningitis...she said its somethin that no body ever test for anymore, and it could very well be the problem, good luck

have they tested him for a uti(urinery track infection) yet. one of my little boys was getting fevers that got up to 104.6, 3 trips to the er and 5 to his dr. they finally tested him for it, and it came back postive.

103 is not good. My daughter used to get fevers when she was teething or had ear aches. Just keep an eye on him.

You are not using an ear thermometer are you? If so get rid of it, they're junk.
