rebuilding a 420a for my eclipse

would i be better of doing this or putting in a diffrent motor.

I talked to the people from Hahn Racecraft at a show last year and they built a 95 or 96 eclipse w/ a 420a engine and they said they were putting like 500hp to the ground out of it.

check out 2gnt.com forums for info on a build up.if your looking to make real power with that motor than you need turbo with out a doubt (costs way to much to go N/A). Also head porting, larger throttle body and better intake manifold are a must. doing a motor swap would be a big challenge because turbo eclipse/talon motors are mounted opposite (belts,motor mounts, and crank pully are on drivers side). i've heard that srt-4 motors can be shoe horned into these cars with custom motor mounts but i'm not entirely sure.
