So i will finally be bagging my truck next month, I have a 1997 Chevrolet S-10 Stepside 4.3v6. I just have a quick question. When I am welding on the notch do I center it over the axle? or where do i position it. and also, do you know what the black rectangle box is near the driver side rear axle of the truck. I think it has fuel lines running into it. do I have to move it? do i have to re-route the lines?im not sure. any help would be awsome, thank you

Depends on your rear susp. If you have a 4 link than you should be able to center it right over the axle. How long are you bars if you have a 4 link? If you have ladder bars it will have to go forward of the center of the axle because it will articulate forward as the frame goes down more. If you have leafs you should be alright centered over the axle. The black box is the evaporator canister for the gas tank. Don't ask me what it really does but yes more than likely you will have to relocate. Not a big problem though. Just make sure it doesn't get too close to the exhaust. Hit me up if you need any other ?'s answered or if you need bags, brackets, compressors, or anything else for your project. I will get you a good deal on it. John sales@customparts.biz
