I wanna do air on my Civic. Whats better Air struts or bags up front? and how exactly does an air bag work up front? Do you mount it to the top of the control arm? Than where? Any help would be awesome.

The bag struts made by EasyStreet are much nicer then rods and they bolt in just like your factory srping and strut.

Lots of cutting and fabing to do bags, yes on top of the control arm (see my profile). the bag struts, i'm sure ride better than rods just because of the shock absorber, but my rods didn't ride all that bad, just a little spoungy

I think my rods ride really decent. I don't even have accumulators. I would assume the strutbags wouldn't get down quite as good. Actual bags are alot of fab work, but it'd be worth it in the end. I may just end up going that route next winter.

I have Easy Street Strut Bags all the way around. I think they have a Great Ride Even all the way up. Strut Bags are great because they just bolt right in in your stock location up front after a little grinding of course and some smooting of edges. Only thing I am not 100% satisfied is that sometimes the front does not want to lift. Its like there is a seal keeping the bag from filling. Normally you have to have your tanks full and about 150 psi and lift the front. If you fill your tanks and lift the front first normally no problems. If you have any question IM me.

i say cans, baggin it isn't tough there are tons of cars on here bagged basically you cut out the strut tower and mount some sort of support into the firewall and mount the bag between that support and your upper control arm, as for the back i am not sure but it would be worth your time to bag it, strut bags are over-rated IMO esp. at like 350 a pop considering cans (cylinders) are only 100 a pop so i dunno just my two cents e-mail me or whatever i will tell you everything you need to buy if you wanna can it or i can help you out in figuring out how to bag it

Its stock control arms, up until 2000 Honda Civic's had upper and lower control arms. In 2001 they went to that Mcpherson strut crap.
