driveshaft question

does anybody have any pics of a two piece shaft setup? i want to do a two piece driveshaft because i don't want to cut up the cab and i've got stereo equipment in the way

cut up the cab for what, are you layin frame or body dropped, i lay frame with 18's and a one piece and all we notched was the crossmember, still have about 2 inches to the cab

the rear is set up for 20s, i don't want to redue a driveshaft if i get bigger wheels

my driveshaft is not stock though,nor is my carrier bearing, it a gm carrier a slip and stub and 2 cv joints.

that makes no sense to me, please rephrase the question

He means if he changes to bigger wheels the suspension will have to travel further to lay the same.

hey rudy, how much money did you spent approximately for your whole driveshaft setup? i'm thinking about buying a decent two piece from a junkyard and getting it cut and welded twice, once on each, catco charges 40 a cut and weld, and like 30 for balancing.

i had mine built from scaratch but i can'ttell you how much i paid cuz then everyone will bash me for paying so much.

put it this way .....i got more than one shaft.

yea, i think i'm gonna be spending alot on a shaft too, just hope i can find a clean one up here in MN. Thanks for the pics Rudy
