Do you think it was worth the extra time and money to have a ford than a sdime or toy?

yeah i would say it was worth it i wouldnt take anything for my ranger at the moment as for the money part i wouldnt know about any other truck this is my first one

extra money? Last time I checked fords were cheaper than chevys for comparable models/years....

I'd probably be driving a chevy now if i could have justified the 3K more for what I wanted in a truck...

but how much more did you spend in suspension.

ahhhhh, guess that's where i turn into a "poser" on this site... bought mine "pre-bagged" for the most part, it was even cheaper than buying a normal f150 for me...

Added drop spindles and will be cutting the firewall and tubbing it to get it lower, but from everything i've learned so far it's more time than money...

having owned a Ranger, i'd have to say yes! i think it sucks that Rangers don't get as much coverage as the S10 or 'Yotas.

i agree. I have been born and raised GM but from the way things are looking with their new cars/trucks, i may be converting to ford for good. I have had my 95 splash for 6 years and i love it. Jus bought a bronco II as well. Fords are cool. If i had it to do over, i would have never bought the sonoma and dumped money into it cause their everywhere. Should have spent the money on the splash. Rudy's ranger is my inspiration, so sick...

I have a ranger for my project and a mustang as the daily. yes its definitely worth the extra trouble. makes it all worth it when you build something a little less common
