when body dropping can I keep the sterring colum connected or should I take it out? also what thickness of a steel should I use for the body drop?Last question what type of rims should I get? Thanx guys I will soon be dragging door

take it out, it will bind and cause it not let the cab level out. you HAVE to redo your steerin linkage(fi its a ranger anyways).

i did a 3.5 Bd on my 94 ranger and my steering is bindin up any tips guys on what to do.....makes all kinds of noise seems to be to much of a angle anyone else run into this problem

16gauge...take the column out..i never had any problems with the steering on mine, i swapped out for a tilt wheel and everything worked on my old 95

i ahd to put 2 universal joints in mine, one at the fire wall and 1 and the steering gear.
