A friend of mine is looking to roll the rear fenders on his 4dr sunfire to get 19's to fit. Has anyone done this? The car is a 2001 and the wheels are like 5 mm too big... Any help would be great, thanks...

yeah back in th emid 80s we used to roll fenders. use a baseball bat or something similiar. push it against the tire and paush down and roll the bat along the tire, it will slowly push the fender lip up and in..

Im not so sure you'll have any luck "rolling" them because as you plobly know, its 2 layers of metal sandwiched and spot welded.Only thing I can see is cutting the wheellip and jacking out the 1/4 at the wheel lip to flare the 1/4 slightly. If you dont want that route, the wheel lip is almost 1" wide....Im sure you can trim half of that off and re weld if needed.try a heat fence, but chances are bodywork and/or paint will probly be required.

the rollers that you can buy online have urethane wheels and bolt to your rotor and roll it out with little force and its supposed to keep your paint nice and just stretch the metal and fold it up.
