Ok..
well here's a thought...
Most of you have health insurance, hopefully right...
well I'm sure many of you don't knowDave (Loenuff)....
he's got insurance...
But still, that's probably not good enough for his situation... Dave went back to Little rock last week for an exam for a kidney transplant as a result of a long battle with juvenile diabetes.
He's had one already, and knows the dangers going in, and coming out of it.
He's had many other operations, when I asked him if he could even recall how many, he had no clue....
Now, a few of the St Louis S-series Members, and I, spent a good portion of the weekend at Dave's house...
We talked, and we laughed.
But when it came down to it, we talked about his pending operation, and he said Insurance is going to cover most of it, Now I'm think he's gonna be out of pocket a couple grand, NO..
This operation is going to cost him an estimated 100,000 dollars...
Not to mention the very expensive non rejection medicine he's going to need after the surgery...
Now us as Nats staff... had decided a long time ago, to make this years donation from nats to the American Diabetes Association, Then later on without even knowing this information, had decided that would be split with Dave.
Now it's more important than ever.

He's the second from the Left..
it goes Me, Dave, Moley (Amanda), StlXtreme_1 (Ricky), and 2kXtreme (Dustin)
I know we've all got bills, some people just bought a house, some people have child support, or have children at home, extra mouths to feed, NOW imagine having that, AND having to find, 10 percent of 983,000 dollars to cover a life saving surgery, imagine....
Yes I'd like everyone from here to come to nats, BUT.. I really want to be able to make a sizeable donation to Dave, to help cover some of these costs.
And if you're thinking naww.. he doesn't really have these problems, you couldn't be more wrong.
like I said.. I've got this posted on about 6-7 different s10/minitruck boards..
if EVERY active member even just donates a dollar..
we're not asking for even 5 from every active member.. if everyone just donates a dollar.
he'll be well on his way...
