I just bought a 1988 standard cab toyota with a bench seat just wondering what system options I have to put behind the seat. Any ideas will help thanks

i had 2 12's in a reg cab ram 50 so anything is possible. I have 2 resonant engineering RE8's for sale that are loud and would fit nicely.

You can do those two 8's Big Joe has in a box the width of the cab. Put the subs beside each other on one end and port the other end. The 8's are small enough to stay accurate but the ported box will be killer.

Had one 10" in a mazda standard cab. The 10 was behind the driver side of the seat, and the bax was ported in the lower corner facing the passenger side of the cab. It rocked, to balance out the look, my amps were flush mounted on the passenger side.

Not sure of the internal volume, or tuning frequency, but that would depend on the sub you chose anyway.

The two 8" box above would be similar, and should sound nice if built and tuned correctly.

Of course you could always buy a prefab made for the truck, but won't sound as nice in the long run.

Thanks for all the help guys. I am going to see how far up I can move the seat and still drive comfortable. What kind of subs are you guys running in a small box behind the seat? Is a custom box the best way to go?
