header

So I've heard an exhaust header can help out a mazda a little bit. I found a pacesetter header but have a couple questions. 1) how is fitment? 2) does it hang below the frame? Thanks folks.

they fit like stock and my old one didnt hang below the frame of my 89 extra cab

1 - just unbolt your old manifold and if you have all the emisions b/s you're going to want to remove it all. and then just bolt your your header on. 2 It's very close to below the frame. I took mine and cut it and heated it up alittle and bent the end up alittle then just welded it up. Just look at a picture.

mine doesn't hang below the frame and it fits good but if you buy a brand new one i wouldn't use the gasket they send I blew one out on the way to a show and had to replace it with a stock tin one one it hasn't leaked since.
