friend of mine just called and asked if i had a solution to why his truck fell flat on it's face.

he was driving to work and about 3 minutes in the truck just died along with his wipers,

when trying to start it theirs no engagment of the starter at all and the wipers still won't work but every other accesory does. lights stereo etc.

any idea's as to whats causeing it not to engage?

i'm thinking it's just the starter but with a mazda it will usually give a few clicks and fire up, i've never had one just die the first go before.

check your fuses , usually when more then 1 thing stops working at 1 time it may be fuse related. i work at a mazda dealer so i'll look in the book to see. what year is it and is it a 2200 or 2600

93 b2200.

he said all the fuses are ok, but who knows

check the main fuse its under the hood on the passenger side fenderwell, if it is blown there are two nuts that hold it in place one on each side(took me 2 hours to figure this out lol, and trust me that fuse will never come out without removing those two nuts)
