My pops gave me a car this weekend that he got from his father when he passed. Its a 1969 olds delta 88 royale w/ 455 rocket.Its a bastard to find parts for but im looking to restore it and i wondered if you guys could direct me to a olds forum of some sort.

442.com. but thats mostly cutlass people. i'm sure someone on that site can point you in the right direction. take it from me, doing an olds sucks. parts are a bitch to find and usually end up costing way more. i spent 13 g's for my olds 350 to pump about 400 hp. a chevy 350 with 13 g's into it (with the right connections for parts) can push double that for the same money. dont expect it to be an easy restore project. But it always costs more to do something different but its worth it to not look like everyone else. good luck

it doesnt need much because the body is mint and its never been crashed. The motor runs fine but it could use a little pep so i may just rebuild it or stroke it. It definately needs a new tranny because it leaks and slips. The interior is complete and mint and it could use new vinyl or leather seat recovering. I would prolly also pull the gastank and instal a fuel cell or a replacement tank because this one has to be all nasty inside. Ill take pics this weekend when im home.
