i have a 05 silverado lowered 4/6 on 22's and my intermediate shaft in the rack and pinion keeps goin out. i was wondering if anyone else is having this problem, and if so if there is any solutions?

I have a 03. Gone through one already. I have the new design and have not had a problem since.
BUT I hear from a service advisor at the dealership that the new design is failing now too. They are back to re packing them again.
I found that if you DO NOT turn the wheel with the motor off (no power steering) the shaft lasts longer!
