I have a 1983 Cadillac, and im going to be bagging it soon. Has any one done a car like this? I know what bag kit i am going to buy, but what kind of brackets am i going to need? Do i have to fabricate my own, or are there some pre-made brackets that i can get?

it's an 83. strut bags would do about 0 good.

The car is simple to bag. You just need upper and lower cups for front and rear. you'll have to do some trimming, but other than that, it's a straight on deal. word of advise, you can buy cups, or make your own, but the lower cup should only be about an inch tall, otherwise you won't lay out.

if i'm not mistaken the suspension on a caddy like that can take a set of s-10 cups and some trimming/replating to the lower control arm for more clearance in the front. the rear you can go with a cup that bolts to the top spring perch and some over axle bag mounts. this is a really basic setup but should be a reliable one. we did the same to my buddies cutlass before he decided to body drop it and it worked awesome (cutlass has very similar suspension). good luck

just get a set of cups for the front, the lower cup should be about 3/4 to 1/2 inch depending on the setup or else it wont lay, the rear can use cups as well, let me know if you need any other questions answered.
