I have tokico shocks with coilovers. Over bumps it sounds like the upper control arm is hitting on the sheetmetal in the wheel well. I think the upper control arm is hitting but not sure. I don't think it is the schocks. I don't really want to cut this up yet but should I cut some holes for the arms so they don't bottom out. Thanks for the help.

get rid of the coilovers and get some good lowering springs. unless you got an extremely nice/expensive set of coilovers you will never stop hearing funny noises and also you will wear through shocks every year. i got agx adjustables and intrax springs and my handles/rides like a dream. 90% of coilovers are garbage. Also if your car is slammed that low that its hitting, you are probably destroying your balljoints. the former owner of mine slammed mine almost that low and it tore the upper control arm/balljoint to shit.
