I bought a 96 S-10 and I am selling my wagon but the guy doesn't want the wheels. So I was thinking about getting adapters to put the 4 lug wheels on the 5 lug truck. The only place I can find them is AIM for $400. As much as I don't want to give them my money I would be willing to so I could keep my wheels. Does anybody know if they will tuck enough for a bodydrop? I have no clue how thick the adapters are, probably an inch. The wheels are 18x7.5 with a +42 offset in the front and 19x7.5 with a +48 offset in the rear. Both sets of tires are 215/35/18 or 19. Will they be safe for a daily driver? I don't exactly have a ton of power going to them... it is a 2.2 automatic.

I know someone who used those for an '02 dodge ram for some 22's. They worked for about a week and then he had the front driver side wheel fall off at 50mph. Luckily he was alright but the truck and wheels recieved damage.

I just found those on Ebay. I emailed him to see if he makes a 4 lug to 5 lug adapter.
Were the ones that fell off from AIM?

i bought mine from a dude on ebay that makes them. Not sure his name or anything but he said he manufactures all of the adapters for the big name wheel companies and he had a SEMA award. Carries a Million dollar insurance policy as well. Built to order and mine ran me $140 shipped to my door for all 4. Been on for about a year now and i drove to tennessee and back at 85-90MPH and never had a problem.
