anyone else drop a ranger 4/5 ? my daily is and now its so low that the tierods are hitting the frame and bending them.. im curious if anyone else has ran into this problem... im thinking the coils are sagging because the truck does not sit level... btw its a djm kit with control arms upper and lower coils and a flip kit in the rear. see my profile for pics

flip the tie rod ends...that way they don't hit...then get the truck aligned

i used to have a 4/5 on mine. it was the DJM 4/5 kit, control arms and coils up front and flip kit out back. the tierods bottomed out only when i hit hard bumps. other than that, they were alright. i just watched where i drove. main problem was bridge joints on the interstate

that is how mine sat

do your arms have the red bumpstops on them?

how low can you drop a 98 ranger before you have to change the shocks and get a c- notch?

i have the same drop on my daily with the upper lower and springs up front and flip kit in the back. i have not noticed my tie rods hitting but then again all i have noticed is with stock tires it rubs wheel wells really bad when i hit a bump.

I hardly have any bumpsteer with my tie rods flipped. Yes I know that it CAN happen, but I don't experience it with my truck.

I have a custom coilover setup front and back, in case that question about what coils (cut, heated, stock) was directed at me. I have an Edge, so it had torsion bars anyway, which I have tossed.

alls cured my coils were soft letting it drop more than normal.. i have the red bumpstops on the control arms.. it wasnt during driving they were hitting the frame. it was the nut by the tierod end that hit the frame if you turned full lock i got new coild from stylin and alls good.. got it aligned and back drivin!
