c4 tranny

the previous owner said the truck has a c4 tranny dont know what year but i dont know where the shifter mounts cause i am looking into buying a new one from lokar anything helps

not really sure what your asking... but the shifter would mount to the drivers side of the trans. year shouldn't matter. a c4 is a c4 no matter what.

Ahhhh, I'm pretty sure that shit mostly relates to the vehicle, not the trans, meaning if you need the shifter further back towards the seats in a roadster vs in front of a bench seat in a truck... but my suggestion is to call lokar and see what they recommend. do you already have a hole in the floor for it? they may make one to go thru a stock opening if that truck even had a floor shift option.
