My girlfriend just bought a 1952 Chevy 1 ton(might be a 1.5 ton) Flatbed. She got it so she can haul my car to the shows and cuz she wants something to work on(I think Im gonna marry her!!!). She was gonna put a rollback on it but thats kinda expensive. She decided to do a flatbed with ramps. But it needs to be low to the ground for that. So she wants to know if we can bag it to lay out and I was thinkin she would use 18wheeler bags. Any ideas or suggestions???

just use the 3000lb bags and you will be good. ive seen people use less with gooseneck trailers.

What if she puts a rollback bed on it? What bag to use?

Your going to need more than 3000 each I would think. Depending on the rollback size it can be anywhere from 4-7000 pounds. Add your show trucks weight and the flatbeds weight and it starts getting pretty heavy. I would also think that unloaded it will ride real harsh.
