After almost 2 years, I only had one leak on the drain plug of my tank from when I removed it a few weeks ago to clean the tanks. I tightened it up a tad and no more leaks. I use two wraps of teflon tape, then a thin layer of tfe paste as well.

i actually just had a brass fitting split all the way down the middle. at least that didn't happen while i was driving. i have a very small leak up front that would take several hours to notice any drop in height. i'll get around to fixing it, but it's not a big deal right now.

I had a leak just in the right front of my truck, it would air down over night. I HATE leaks! So i took my valves out of the truck and plugged one port on my valve setup and hooked up air to the other port. dumped the valves under water and my dump valve was leaking, so i took it apart and found a metal shaving in the part that lets air in. cleaned the valves and stuck them back in. now i dont have anymore leaks!! i can leave it aired up and it wont go down at all!

I use the Permatex Thread sealant, its a form of Loctite....i dont have the number off hand but you can get it at napa.

I have zero leakage. It will last a least 2 weeks without being touched. Thats as long as I have let it sit so far. I use the loctite 545 sealant. That stuff is awsome. It use to take me 2-3 tries with teflon tape to get them sealed. The only thing I haven't tried is dis-assembly with the 545 so I don't know that that will be like.

Thats the number! That stuff doesnt get hard all the way so its rather easy to dis-assemble the valves.
