what is involved with laying 22's on all 4 corners of a fs chevy 89? Do i have to tub the firewall? narrow the axle in back? N e thing?

for the front
*tub firewall or just move it back a few inches (i actually just moved mine back with a portapower)
*tie rod notch
*notch frame for lower control arm (it will hit the frame before you lay out)
*notch lower control arm mount (the lower control arm will hit it before you lay out)
*notch upper control arm mount or the uppers themselves (the upper control arm will hit before you lay out)
*relocate the wiring harness connector on the driver side firewall
*modify or remove inner fenders
*relocate or remove coolant overflow tank
*relocate battery or battery mounts
*relocate or remove windshield washer fluid tank
*remove hood springs (will possibly hit)
*drop spindles (of course)

tubular control arms will help alot and keep you from having to notch the frame so much.

for the rear
*at least an 8" notch (i would go with a 10")
*some type of link setup (4/3/2 link)
*notch gas tank crossmember
*remove or cut inner bed fenders

on my truck i scored the control arm about an inch from the balljoint, bent it downward about 12-15 degrees, thenwelded it back up. the lowers i just cut the hump off the side of the arm closest to the cab, then plated it flat.
