i am putting a different 1.5 in my wifes 90 crx. the old one was shot and i got one from a buddy for 50 bucks. the new one has a 5 speed tranny on it though. i would like to make it stick and not have to pull the tranny off the motor. the auto tranny in it is also not the best(all the more reason to make it stick) i have the shift linkage, axles, clutch cable, and speedo cable. i've got the shift linkage and clutch cable figured out but is there something i'm missing? how hard can it really be? all the motor mounts are the same. it appears all the wiring is the same. keep in mind this is my wifes car, so b16's b18's h22's k20's that sorta thing is out of the question, 1.5 is good enough for her for now.

i can eaisly get a pedal setup from the junkyard, but i thought those were just a cable driven clutch, or are they hydraulic?

cable, n its real easy just drop the motor n tranny in, install ur axles, make sure u put new cotter pins back in ur lower ball joints, remove ur automatic pedal assembly, install ur stick shift pedal assembly, if ur car doesnt have cruise control n u get pedals for cruise u might have to cut off the bracket that holds the gas in place when u put the cruise on so it fits, then u said u got the shift link. n clutch cable down so thats about it. good luck
