mounting a fbi billet mirror?

so i got a billet mirror from fbi. it comes with no materials to mount it with i used that gray and red double sided 3M tape, and it came down once already. what should i use to get it to stay up there?

most parts stores have a mirror adhesive, if i remember right (beeh awial since i have used it) it has everything u need to use it. like the prep and then the adhesive, the directions are on the back if i remember right. hope this helps bro. good luck

not sure if you are trying to mount it to the windshield with double sided tape or not but if you are that will not work. you need to go to your auto parts store and go into the help sectiona nd get the METAL buttons that mount to your windshield for the mirror to attach to (ask the parts guys they will no what you are talking about) also you need to get the adhesive for rear view mirrors. glue the metal button to the windshield let it set over night then attach the first part of the mirror over the button with the set screw and then attach the mirror. simple as that.

alright cool, once more question. my windsheild is tinted and the previous mirror hung from the roof not the windsheild. so i would have to cut a hole in the tint for the mirror to mount directly to the glass right?
