door pooppers

yah, i know i spelled it poop instead of pop. My questions is ...where does the popper itself get installed.....i saw it done like this

And i wasnt diggin the look on that....SO is it possible to install it onthe door or do i have to install it in the door jam...just seeing if i could get help from others...thanks...

If it's mainly the look that makes you not want them showing like that, try popping the door without an actual spring popper. Some vehicles, the weather stripping alone pushes out enough to where you dont even have to pull on the door.. But, if youve already tried that or realize you for sure need the poppers.. I wouldnt see a problem with it mounted elsewhere, just whatever works to push it out
