I know mounting an air bag on a link bar improves ride quality compared to mounting over the axel. Would this same concept be true for mounting hydro Cylinders or would it just cause it to be way bouncy?

You ride nicer with bags on bars cuz you need less psi unlike bag over axle where you need way more to achieve the same lift, but with hydros the ride is the same through out the cylinders range,so nope.More lift though.

it will help if you are using coils in the rear, versus over the axle, especially if you aren't running accumulators. There is an increase in leverage directly related to the positioning of the source of leverage i.e. bag, cylinder, coilover, whatever.most trucks with juice ride a little stiff in the rear because of the absence of weight. Therein, you have effectively the least amount of resistance over the axle, whereas a leveraged suspension "sees" more weight

mines set up on the link bars w/ coils... rides awsome!

Thanks for the insight!
